EMBRACE OF THE DAIMON
Published in Paperback by Red Wheel/Weiser (July, 2001)
Authors: Sandra Lee Dennis and Thomas Moore
Average review score:

Embrace of the Daimon
This book was fantastic, complex and intriguing. It was difficult at first to understand the imagery and where the author was going with such a graphic description. Lately I have been aware that our society has been inundated with subtle imagery of sex and violence, but this book helped me embrace the true personal significance of that imagery, particularly if it is reoccurring. It is avery personal book that allows you to read it from the perspective that it is the author's story, yet still gain so many insights about yourself, even if you can only relate to glimpses of the account. I think the book is appropriate for anyone who is on a journey of self-awareness and discovery and looking for answers for some sexual or violent imagery. This book can help take those images and place them in the context of your own experience and enable you to open up to them in a very positive and useful way. They go from disturbing nightmares to acceptable thoughts. Highly recommeded for all those on a path to a higher self.

Major historical events and their repercussions
Enhanced with a new introduction by Christopher Moore, this University of Toronto Press trade paperback edition of The Empire Of The St. Lawrence: A Study Of Commerce And Politics by the late Donald Creighton (1902-1979) reintroduces to a modern readership a truly scholarly work addressing the rise and fall of a Canadian trading empire from 1763 to 1850. Individual chapters address major historical events and their repercussions in the region of the lower lakes, the conflict between commerce and agriculture, and much more. Organized into three principal sections (The First Unity of the St. Lawrence; Transition in the Region of the Lower Lakes; The Struggle for the Second Commercial Empire), and enhanced with "Bibliographical Note" and "Notes" sections, The Empire Of The St. Lawrence is a meticulously researched, college-level source book, that continues to be recommended for academic reference collections as a definitive and seminal work.

Enamelling (The New Craft Series)
Published in Hardcover by Lorenz Books (October, 1998)
Authors: Denise Palmer, Peter Williams, and Jane Moore
Average review score:

Quality book with fun and worthwhile projects.
This book contains projects that are easy to get started on, and are very worthwhile projects to complete. The author makes it so easy. The language is concise. The photography is stunning, and illustrates the needed techniques very well.

I do not know of any other enamelling book that has projects of this quality. You would be proud to give these to your friends and relatives. By making simple adaptions you could create your own designs. The projects require simple tools often found in consumer jewellry work.

Easy to read, very well edited, richly illustrated, great projects, great price. What else could you ask for?

Encounter on the Moon (Classified)
Published in Paperback by Kingfisher Books (September, 1996)
Author: Robin Moore

Encounter On the Moon
This book is one of the BEST book I ever read. It is very imaginative. The story is about the time Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon. Almost everythig is true but the part the author talks about the crew seeing aliens on the moon. It is mostly true and very well written. Most of the characters are also real. I like this book very much because it is on my favorite subject (astronomy) and the fact that it is written on a famous achivement of all mankind. In my class book list this book is still topping my list. After reading this I am longing to read all of the "CLASSIFIED" series books so I am ordering them. The other titles of this classified series also sound nearly as interesting as this book. I highly recommend this book to all the people interested in this subject.

Environmental Control Systems
This course textbook is an excellent tool for both the beginner and the experienced architect with regard to expanding one's knowledge base on energy designing. The text starts with basic information relating to the environment and site analysis, then provides detailed design concepts for practical use. The materials include current examples for review and study, as well as a wealth of tables and calculation aids for application of the theories studied. Even the individual who just wants a single source for receiving a working knowledge of how to evaluate a site's characteristics with regard to the environment would benefit from this text.

It's just.... a great book
This is a book I really liked. It explains almost everything you need to know about horses. It's clear and complete. Approaches every subject you could look for, especially those related to surgery. I borrowed this book from a friend, read it all, but it was not enough, this book has too much information. So, if you are a veterinarian, a student, a horse trainer, a horse owner or just a horse lover, this is a perfect book to have in your personal library to consult it whenever you need.

The Essence of Stigler
Published in Paperback by Hoover Inst Pr (October, 1986)
Authors: Kurt R. Leube, Thomas G. Moore, and George Joseph Stigler
Average review score:

It's worth
This is a set of papers written by Stigler in his marvelous career. It is divided into 5 parts: I. Contributions to economics; 2. contributions to political economics; 3. contributions to industrial organization; 4. history of economic thought; 5. the wit of George Stigler.

It is very difficult to gather all these 23 articles in only one place. The book is worth because you can find a bunch of deep knowledge.

Enjoy the book, revisit old ideas very clear and well written, and perhaps get other ones.

Esther
Published in Paperback by Doubleday (March, 1995)
Author: Carey A. Moore
Average review score:

A really good book for me
A lot of the people at my church read the Bible funny. The think everything is true and that if you don't believe it all then you're not a Christian. I don't believe them. I bought this book to help me understand the book of Esther in the Bible. It has helped me teach those people in my church about an important woman in the Bible because they only like Jesus and not women.
